BIOGRAPHY

My name is Jacky Sattler. I am an artist from the New England area, and I create my own original handmade art pieces. I enjoy bringing the canvas to life with lots of bright colors. I mostly work with acrylics but enjoy working with watercolor paint as well. I create different kinds of art such as abstract and figures and I even enjoy sketching. But my best work comes out when I am creating scenery pieces. Such as those shown in my Selected Works section.

As for my work, I gain inspiration from every day life and the things that inspire me day to day. I have always thought of painting as a coping approach to day to day life. My favorite scenes to paint are the ocean, mountains, sunsets, and I try to capture the beauty I see through my own eyes onto the canvas.
